Meet Anna Liwak – A Heartfelt Educator with a Holistic Soul

This quote has guided me through every chapter of my life. I believe that our greatest gift is what we carry within—and that sharing it with others is what truly makes us whole.
    My name is Anna Liwak, and I’m a Qualified Teacher with over 15 years of experience working with children, teenagers, and adults. My journey began in Poland, where I earned my degree in English and taught as a lecturer of English as a foreign language. I’m a passionate linguist, fluent in Polish, Ukrainian, Russian, and English, currently learning Spanish—with Italian next on the list!
    Since moving to UK (Hertfordshire) in 2007, I’ve embraced many roles in education— Supply Teacher, when in 2011 earned Qualified Teacher Status, to Teaching Assistant, supporting children with diverse needs, including those with SEN and speech and language challenges. I also worked with EAL (English as an Additional Language) parents and children helping them with translations and adding them a sense of confidence and comfort. I’ve also worked in the aerospace industry, working as a Quality Administrator, where I learned the value of precision and teamwork. But my heart has always belonged to nurturing children.
    In recent years, I’ve focused on Early Years and Nursery education, where I’ve found deep joy in helping little ones grow through sensory play, emotional regulation, and gentle routines. I love working with children—their honesty, curiosity, and laughter inspire me daily.
    Outside of work, I’m a proud mum, wife, a dancer, a lifelong learner, and a creative soul. I explore psychology, science, and our connection to nature. I’m also a faithful Christian and active in my local church, bringing people together through community and compassion. My artistic side shines through candle design, where imagination meets light.
